"Practical Programming: An Introduction to Computer Science Using
Python" by Jennifer Campbell, Paul Gries, Jason Montojo, Greg Wilson

was just advertised in a recent newsletter I get from Pragmatic
Programmers. PragProg have written some fine books, and I hear rumors
they have written some turkeys, too. But I found the title and
description of the book intriguing and thought I'd pass on what I knew.

The treeless "beta" PDF is only $22 or you can get a bundle of the PDF
now and the book when it ships for a reduced rate.

I'd like to hear a review if anyone buys it.
