DLSLUG - Upcoming Meeting
Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Linux User Group
Presents
Jon "Maddog" Hall speaking about:
Project Cauã
This project expects to create a large number of jobs in Brazil by providing business templates built around open software and hardware.
Benefits should include "greener" computing technology, improved security, and free wireless mesh Internet access. Many of these jobs should be suitable for people who are hard to employ (e.g. single parents, physically handicapped).
Come and learn about a different economic development model that's built around shared initiative and minimal government funding.
Thursday, Jan 12, 7:00 PM
Haldeman 041
Admission is free
